What this is

Question Bank Hub ("QBH", "we") is a practice tool for Red Seal exam preparation across Canadian skilled trades, for study and self-assessment only. Each trade includes a free taste — a limited set of practice questions with full explanations, at no charge and no account required — so you can try it before you buy. A one-time per-trade unlock opens the full question bank and unlimited mock exams for that trade (see Pricing below).

No guarantee — it's a study aid

Practising here does not guarantee you will pass the official Red Seal exam. The questions are certified one by one and labelled honestly, but they are a study aid — not the official exam, not certification, and not professional advice. Red Seal® is a trademark of the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA). QBH is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the CCDA, the Red Seal Program, or any provincial or territorial apprenticeship authority.

Your account

An account is optional — you can practise the free taste without one. You can sign in with your email (we send a one-time link — no password to remember), or with a username and passphrase. A passphrase is stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be recovered, so if you use one, keep it safe. You may delete your account and data at any time (see our Privacy policy). Don't try to break, overload, scrape, or abuse the service, and don't use it to harm others.

What's free, and the paid unlock

• Free (no account required): a per-trade taste of the question bank — a limited set of practice questions with full explanations — so you can see the quality before paying.
• The paid unlock: a one-time purchase, per trade, that opens the full question bank and unlimited mock exams for that trade, for the duration you choose — 30 days, 90 days, or lifetime (see Access term below). No subscription — none of the options renew automatically or charge again.

Pricing, currency, and tax

Choose your duration, per trade — a one-time payment, no auto-renew:

• CA$29 — 30 days.
• CA$59 — 90 days (covers the typical exam window plus the standard 30-day retake wait).
• CA$149 — lifetime (does not expire).

Prices are in Canadian dollars. The total payable is shown all-in before you confirm; applicable sales tax (GST/HST and, where applicable, provincial tax) is added at checkout where we are required to collect it. We are not currently registered to collect GST/HST and will not add it until we pass the CA$30,000 small-supplier threshold. Before 2026-07-14, the unlock was offered at a single CA$39 introductory price with lifetime access — a genuine time-boxed launch price. That introductory price ended for new purchases on 2026-07-14, when the three durations above replaced it.

Access term

Your unlock lasts for the duration you chose at purchase — 30 days, 90 days, or lifetime. None of these renew automatically; there is no recurring charge on any option, and a timed pass simply ends when its term is up (no surprise charge, no auto-conversion to a paid renewal).

Existing buyers are grandfathered — this never changes. If you purchased your unlock before 2026-07-14 (under the earlier CA$39/CA$49 perpetual model), your access remains lifetime — it does not expire — regardless of which options are offered to new buyers afterward. Existing unlocks are never shortened, downgraded, or otherwise changed by this pricing update.

Before you buy

Before you confirm a purchase, we show you — in a form you can keep or print — who you're buying from (Barron Systems Engineering Inc., operating as Question Bank Hub, at the address below), exactly what the unlock includes, the full all-in price and currency (CAD), any tax, the access term, and the refund policy below. You'll have a clear chance to review and correct your order before confirming, and you'll receive a confirmation/receipt you can retain.

Refunds — 7-day money-back

If you're not satisfied with a trade unlock, email info@questionbankhub.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. This is in addition to — and does not waive — any rights you have under your province's consumer-protection law. Quebec residents: your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act apply and cannot be waived.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure, hosted checkout — QBH never sees or stores your full card number. See our Privacy policy for what payment information we do handle.

Service "as is"; changes

The tool is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law (this does not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law). We may change, add, or pause features, including the pricing and durations offered to new buyers; we always honour the access term you actually bought — a lifetime unlock purchased before a pricing change stays lifetime, and a timed pass runs for the full duration you paid for, regardless of what's offered afterward. Progress is stored on a best-effort basis.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. This does not remove the consumer-protection rights of residents of other provinces (notably Quebec and British Columbia), which apply regardless of this clause.
